People
The record, and everything that happens to it.
Profiles and reporting lines, India KYC, joining and exit as tracked task sequences, and the letters and documents both sides need, from one record.
Records
Profiles, reporting lines and a generated org chart, with custom fields defined per company rather than hard-coded.
KYC
PAN, Aadhaar, UAN, PF and ESI details. Employees can supply their own.
Onboarding
Task sequences with owners and dates. A task that is stuck, or an onboarding past its end date, is reported.
Offboarding
Notice period, clearance, asset return, and full and final settlement through the payroll engine.
Self-service
Payslips, letters and company policies, reachable by the employee without asking HR.
Bulk import
CSV import for the initial load, so a migration is not a thousand forms.
HR letters
Twelve letter types, generated, signed and sent.
Letters render to PDF from company templates with a letterhead, can be digitally signed, and can be issued in bulk.
The employee gets them in the same place as their payslips, rather than in an email they have to find again three years later.

Uncertainty
A missing field is named, not blanked.
“No PAN on file” and “PAN recorded as empty” are different problems with different fixes, so they read differently.
Each of these is also a rule Mitra runs, which means an incomplete record surfaces on a schedule rather than at the moment it becomes expensive.
